    Sr. Project Manager (pharmaceutical advertising experience)


    The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for coordination of efforts across an agency franchise. Organize, monitor and route all jobs through the agency. Keep all team members informed of the status of their respective jobs and ensure all jobs are following the agency’s Job Flow Process. Handle aspects of regulatory submissions and financial tracking. Support the Director of Project Management with new business projects, department initiatives and help train, monitor, evaluate and supervise the workload of the department.


    Primary Job Responsibilities

    • Manage project(s)/ project account(s) independently on a day-to-day basis
    • Develop technical requirements and document them for the team's guidance
    • Manage client expectations at all times to foster effectiveness/productivity
    • Provide input to and draft digital sections of the agency tactical plan
    • Maintain regular client contact and become integral part of client team ensuring
      that the client is updated and briefed on all relevant project activity
    • Meet/manage all client deadlines
    • Monitor fee hours and proactively alert agency management and/or clients of
      projects are heading out of scope
    • Effectively lead internal meetings (e.g. discovery, status meetings, job start-ups,
      etc.), making important, relevant contributions, and generate workable conclusions
    • Keep senior management briefed on project activities
    • Develop a knowledge of brand strategy, objective and goals
    • Implement the software life-cycle methodology utilized by the agency and ensure quality assurance standards in the work are performed

      department and the agency

    • Maintain accurate time sheets
    • Foster a positive team environment demonstrating respect for peers and
    • Assist other members of department/team as needed when workload allows
    • Establish credibility and maintain leadership image both internally and externally; convey confidence without over-promise
    • Understand when it is appropriate to make decisions independently and when to escalate issues/decisions to manager


    • College degree, preferably in marketing, advertising, communications or science/medicine
    • 5-6 years agency or comparable experience
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Well-developed knowledge of business practices/vendor relations
    • Professional image
